Affiliate marketing involves many types of people all with different skills promoting a variety of affiliate products so I wanted to take some time just to make sure that the newbies are not just left to hang out there all alone! As you know, when you are first starting out it in affiliate marketing it is so very easy to get yourself headed in the wrong direction.

How To Market Without A Website

Internet marketing is all about getting the word out, everywhere you can. There are many low cost to free methods to do this, without having your own domain and website. Let me be honest with you, when you are selling a product that pays $20 per sale, you do not want to spend $25 dollars per sale in advertising cost. If I were to give you a list of keywords, write a simple ad for you and tell you to open a Pay Per Click account on Google or Bing and start paying for clicks, the chances are very good that you would lose much more money that you make. That’s exactly what I (and you) want to avoid. I want you to be a successful Internet marketer!

So here are three things you can do that will help you to start making money online and they are either free or almost free and will work with all affiliate products as well.

1. This one is very often over looked by marketers but it gets a lot of traffic, it real easy to use, Google likes it which means it gets targeted search engine traffic as well as its own large following. What site am I talking about? It’s called US Free Ads. I use it to sell ClickBank products and have for years now because it works! But there’s a trick to it that you need to know. You need to open a premium account for it to be effective. Don’t worry because it only costs $10 a YEAR and you can write as many ads as you want. 83 cents a month is sooooooooo much cheaper than say $3 a click! 2. If you don’t already have one, open a free Squidoo account. Squidoo has what they call lenses which are webpages you control with your own content. Squidoo holds a lot of weight with Google and can pull first page placement for your lens. The trick here though is to use a good keyword in your lens title and use the same keyword when setting up your squidoo page. For example: “http://www.squidoo.com/dogtraining” This is the URL that Google looks at and the keyword “dogtraining” is in it. Be sure to do that and also have it in your title as well as somewhere in the copy. Use a graphic element or an image element on your page.

3. Do the same thing with HubPages.com It works the same way as Squidoo it’s free and is also very effective.

The ads you place on US Free Ads can be short ads like you would see in the classified section of any newspaper. Again always use a strong keyword in the ad title and repeat it in the ad itself. I’ll be telling you more about this in another post. With Squidoo and HubPages you need to write a small 3 or 4 paragraph article about how easy it is to learn dog training or what ever it is that you are promoting. It should be around 300 words or so and if you change it around a little you can use the same article on HubPages just do not make them identical.

If you can do those 3 things above you’ll be on your way to making money as an affiliate marketer. Remember, these tips will work with all other products as well, not just ClickBank. So what I’m showing you here could make you very wealthy!!
